These women are amazingly talented. Here are some pictures from last night. The purses are for sale, only in Dallas right now though. :) For a donation of $20, you'll get the clutch, $30 donation gets you the large tote. All the profits go to the women to help them star their new lives in America. Eventually, we will teach saving skills, and long term goal of them being able to sustain a small seamstress business themselves, or just improve their english and sewing skills to work for a company, and so on. These pictures are of the women that are Chin people group from Burma, they are Christians and experienced heavy persecution in Burma for being Christian. Pray for our English class also on Thursdays which is really an important step in acclimating them to life here.

More firsts
Last night was the first night the girls made the purses completely by themselves! They did the sewing machine totally alone which is a great accomplishment! In Nepal, they had the pedals that you have to push really hard. So the technique we were practicing the most was how to SLOWLY push on the electric pedal. We made TWO in one hour, and Jamuna even cut out another pattern.
Also got to share why we celebrate Easter. Pray for that conversation to continue and for salvation.
Here are pictures from the night:
